No Form on a Shared Observation Step? Add a New Form | Sibme Help Center

Why a step with more than one observer can open to an empty step, and how to add the form yourself.

Written by TJ Hoffman

If more than one observer is on the same Observation step, for example a principal and an assistant principal, Sibme no longer assigns the form automatically. This keeps each observer's form private. When you select Open on the step, you may see an empty step with no form. You can add the form yourself in a few clicks.

Who Is This Article For?

This article is for observers working on shared Observation steps. It applies to these User levels:

  • User

  • Admin

  • Super Admin

  • Account Owner

Add the Form

  1. Open the step's work screen.

  2. Select the green + button.

  3. Choose New Form.

  4. Pick the form you need, for example a T-TESS domain form.

  5. Make sure the form is set to the right teacher, fill it out, and save.

Adding More Than One Form

To add several forms on the same visit, for example a walkthrough form for each classroom, use the green + again for each new form before you select Done.

The Campus Field Is Blank

If the Campus field on the form is empty, the teacher's profile doesn't have a campus assigned. An admin can add it on the People page.
