Recording resolutions determines two (2) things - how much space your video takes up in your device and how long it will take the video to upload to the cloud.

Who is this article for?

Based on the default user settings in the Sibme platform, you should have permission to complete this task if you are one of the user levels listed below. If you do not see the screens in this article, you can ask your administrator if you have permission.

  • Users

  • Admin

  • Super Admin

  • Account Owner

Steps to accomplish the task:

1. To change the recording resolution, tap "Menu" on the upper left hand corner of the app.

2. These are the options you have when you are in the “Menu” of the Android App. Tap Video Settings

3. In “Video Settings” you can select “Video Quality” to set the resolution for your videos.

4. The default resolution is set to Web-optimized SD (standard definition). This video quality setting ensures faster upload to the Sibme Cloud. You can change this setting.

The Web-optimized HD (high definition) is recorded in HD and is of better quality. This also creates a larger file size, which takes up more space on the device and takes longer to upload.
