Based on the default user settings in the Sibme platform, you should have permission to complete this task if you are one of the user levels listed below. If you do not see the screens in this article, you can ask your administrator if you have permission.

How do I record a video on my Android device?

To record a video using the Sibme Android app, you just need to follow these steps:

  1. Log-in to the Sibme App on your Android Device.
  1. Press the "Record" icon on the bottom right of your screen. Click the red button to start recording.
  1. The Sibme app forces you to record a video in landscape mode. Click the red button again to stop recording, your video will save to "Offline Videos," which is your password protected Sibme video library on your Android device.
  1. The videos will take up storage space on your Android device; however, you can tap the 3 dots (More) next to the video to delete the video after successfully uploading it to the Sibme cloud.

Note: If you are sharing your recording device with other people. Make sure that you upload your video to your Sibme cloud first before deleting the video from the Offline Videos. Check out “How do I upload my recorded videos in Sibme Android to the Sibme cloud?”
