We do not allow you to record in portrait mode within Sibme, since landscape mode enables a better viewing experience on the web; however, you can record a video file in portrait mode outside of the Sibme app with the default iOS or Android cameras and upload the video file directly into the Sibme cloud.

How to record in landscape mode:

If you are using the Sibme App to record a video, you will not be able to record in portrait mode.

If you are recording using the camera roll on your mobile device and cannot switch between landscape and portrait mode, you might have aspect ratio lock enabled. You will need to turn of aspect ratio lock in order to record in the Sibme app.

On iOS Devices

If your device aspect ratio is locked you can swipe up from the bottom of the home screen.

On Android Devices

If you are an Android user, swipe down from the top of the home screen and tap the aspect ratio lock icon to change the setting.
