The Workspace is your private space to upload and store videos to reflect on professional practice.

Who is this article for?

Based on the default user settings in the Sibme platform, you should have permission to complete this task if you are one of the user levels listed below. If you do not see the screens in this article, you can ask your administrator if you have permission.

  • Users

  • Admin

  • Super Admin

  • Account Owner

Uploading Pre-recorded Video and Other Resources

First, from within the Workspace, clicking the Green Plus button allows you to upload videos or resources into the Sibme platform. Collectively videos and resources are referred to as artifacts in the Sibme Platform. Click 'Upload Video' to add a 'video only' resource.

When selecting ‘Upload Video’, ‘Upload Audio’ or ‘Upload Resource’, you have the option of uploading locally or from your personal Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, or Box accounts.

Collectively, you can also record a video, record your screen, add important URLs or website links, add notes, or get quick instruction on how to start synced notes through the Green Plus Button.

Once you upload an artifact, you will have choices as to what you want to do with the file. For example, once a video has been uploaded to Workspace, you can choose to delete, download, rename, crop, or copy it. The same is true for resources, with the exception of cropping. To access these options, simply click the three-dot button on the artifact thumbnail in Grid View or in the artifact’s row in List view to access the More Menu.

If you want to organize your Artifacts, you can create Folders within your Workspace. To know more about it, click here.

Sharing Artifacts

In addition to renaming the video, one of the most frequent actions taken in Workspace, is the action to share an artifact into a Huddle in which you are participating. Clicking the Share icon on the artifact thumbnail in Grid View or on the artifact’s row in List View will open a pop-up window with a list of the Huddles in which you are participating.

From this window you can select the Huddle(s) to which you’d like to share your artifact.

If sharing a video with comments, you have the choice of sharing your video with or without your comments to that space by selecting the ‘Share comments, tags, and attachments’ box.

Other Share Options:

Super Admins also have the ability to share a video to the Library but selecting the ‘Share to Library’ tab. Users participating in multiple accounts can also share artifacts from their Workspace in one account to their Workspace in another account through the ‘Share to Account’ tab.
