Video notes and comments are set to be time-stamped at a specific moment by default.
Additionally, comments are date-stamped at the time of creation, and the date cannot be edited. This ensures that the comment's timestamp reflects the exact moment it was created.

Based on the default user settings in the Sibme platform, you should have permission to complete this task if you are one of the user levels listed below. If you do not see the screens in this article, you can ask your administrator if you have permission.
Users (not all Users will have permission to add comments to Video Library videos)

Steps to accomplish the task:
In the Sibme Web App:
To change from time-stamped to all-video note or comment, click the green toggle switch next to comment time prior to adding a new comment.
If timestamps are not displaying, ensure that the comment mode has not been switched to "Comment on entire video." This can be adjusted using the green toggle switch described above.
To create a time-range comment on the web version of Sibme.
Create a time-stamped comment at the beginning of the range where you wish to create a time-range comment
Once the comment appears in the feed, click the three-dot icon (●●●) on the right side of the comment and choose "Edit".
The text box below the video player will appear with a yellow box around it and contain your original time-stamped comment.
Edit the beginning and ending times by selecting from the drop-down boxes at the top of the box to select the hour, minute, and second you wish to begin and end the time-range comment. Once you have edited your time-range comment, select "Update."
Sibme does not allow users to change the date of a comment. The date is automatically set based on the device or browser date at the time the comment is created. While you can edit the time portion of a comment’s timestamp, the date itself remains fixed. If you need a comment to appear on a different date, you will need to create a new comment on that specific date.
