If you are recording from a mobile device, we recommend that after you open the app, you turn on airplane mode to avoid interrupted video recording.

Who is this article for?

Based on the default user settings in the Sibme platform, you should have permission to complete this task if you are one of the user levels listed below. If you do not see the screens in this article, you can ask your administrator if you have permission.

  • Users

  • Admin

  • Super Admin

  • Account Owner

Steps to accomplish the task:

You must be logged into the Sibme mobile app before turning on airplane mode in your devices settings. If you do not turn on airplane mode before you begin to record and you receive a phone call, it will stop the video recording.

For iOS:

For Android:

Turning on flight mode could be different depending on the Android device you have. For most Android smartphones see the options below:

You can swipe down from the top screen to reveal your quick options.

Select flight mode and turn it on.

You can also go to your settings and select Connections.

Make sure that flight mode is turned on.

The videos you record will be saved to "Offline Videos" (iOS)/ “Videos” (Android) app, which is the local Sibme library. You must turn off airplane mode to upload your videos to your SIbme cloud (My Workspace and Huddles).

Text messages will not disrupt recording.
