Sibme allows you to script in-person observations in your private Workspace without video. If you opt to not use video to supplement your scripting process, you can still add time-stamp notes during an observation and tag your notes with custom video markers and standards/competencies from your embedded rubric or framework. After completing your Scripted Notes, you can copy it from Workspace into a Huddle to share the observation with other Huddle participants. Sharing the scripted observation into the Huddle also associates the analytics for that observation with other Huddle participants.

How to perform a Scripted Observation

To begin a Scripted Notes, navigate to your private Workspace, click the green plus button in the upper right corner of the screen and select “Start Scripted Notes”

The next step is to click the green Start button to begin the observation. The observation title can be changed but it is defaulted by observation date.

The next step in the process is to start scripting while observing. You can add notes, custom marker tags, and standards from your embedded framework.

When you finish your observation, click the yellow "Stop" button. The observation will automatically save to your Workspace. You can review your observation notes, email them directly to your coachee, and/or export the notes via PDF or Excel.

Once you are satisfied, you can share the Scripted Notes with other people in your account by sharing it to a Huddle.
