In Assessment Huddles, there are two types of participants: Assessors and Assessed Participants. Both Assessors and Assessed Participants can share videos to an Assessment Huddle. However, the ability to view videos and make comments on videos varies in an Assessment Huddle based on each participant’s role and the role of the participant who originally uploaded the video into the Huddle.

Videos uploaded to a Huddle by an Assessor

When an Assessor uploads a video to an Assessment Huddle, every participant in the Huddle can view the video. Additionally, Assessors can make time-stamped comments on their own videos in an Assessment Huddle, including all of the enhancements (Custom Marker Tags, Framework tags, etc) available in the Huddle.

When an Assessed Participant views a video uploaded by an Assessor, they will be able to view the time-stamped comments made by the Assessor in the Video. However, Assessed Participants are not able to add comments or tags to videos uploaded by an Assessor.

Assessors can upload exemplar videos to Assessment Huddles to provide model evidence sought for the assignment in the Huddle. Additionally, Assessors can share other types of videos that will enhance the learning process for Assessed Participants in the Huddle.

Videos Uploaded by an Assessed Participant

When Assessed Participants upload videos to an Assessment Huddle, only the submitting participant and Assessors will be able to view the videos. While an Assessor in an Assessment Huddle can view all videos in the Huddle, Assessed Participants will not be able to view other assessed participant’s videos.

Assessors can make time-stamped comments on all videos in an Assessment Huddle, including all of the enhancements (Custom Marker Tags, Framework tags, etc) available in the Huddle.

When an Assessed Participant views a video they uploaded to the Huddle, they will be able to view the time-stamped comments made by the Assessor in the Video. However, Assessed Participants are not able to add comments or tags to videos uploaded by an Assessor. Assessed Participants can reply to comments made by an Assessor in a video the Assessed Participant added to the Huddle.
