One way that Sibme makes a coach’s work more efficient is by allowing coaches to keep track of the progress made in each coaching session by writing a summary of that session and accessing all video session details.  Depending on how the coach sets up the huddle, the coachee may or may not be able to access the session summary.  This article will focus on how to create and edit a session summary.

Who is this article for?

Based on the default user settings in the Sibme platform, you should have permission to complete this task if you are one of the user levels listed below. If you do not see the screens in this article, you can ask your administrator if you have permission.

  • Admin

  • Super Admin

  • Account Owner

Steps to accomplish the task:

Alternate between text instructions and a relevant screenshot (when appropriate)

1. In order to open the video session details to write a summary, the coach will have to navigate to the thumbnail of the video on which they want to provide feedback.  When the coach clicks anywhere on a video tile, the sessions details will popup and be displayed.

2. From this view, the coach will select the Coaching Summary tab.  When the tab is selected, the coach can select the option to Edit in order to type into the summary text box. The coach may then type a session summary in the textbox and choose to Save the summary.

3. After saving the summary, the coach still has the option to edit the summary by clicking on the word Edit in the lower right of the textbox.

The Video Session Details area provides a tally of the number of coaching and coachee comments as well as the number of resources added to the huddle.  If performance levels have been enabled and tagged, that data will also be available in the summary.
