Even on mobile devices, the ability to record your screen while you are showing something on your screen is a powerful way to communicate and share new information. And with Mobile Screen Recording, being able to record a video for blended, online learning, or asynchronous review of videos gives you the freedom to record your videos whenever wherever you want.

Who is this article for?

Based on the default user settings in the Sibme platform, you should have permission to complete this task if you are one of the user levels listed below. If you do not see the screens in this article, you can ask your administrator if you have permission.

● Users

● Admin

● Super Admin

● Account Owner

Steps to accomplish the task:

To begin Screen Recording on either Android or iOS, then go to your Workspace, click the green plus button, and choose Record Screen from the given options.

After you click Record Screen, then you will receive a warning message on both Android and iOS. Click Start Now on Android and Start Broadcast on iOS to begin.

The recording will begin immediately and you will be able to navigate to the screen you would like to record by tapping on the gray area outside the control box (iOS). Both Android and iOS feature some controls that will allow you to control the way the video is recorded. Please be aware that you might have to touch the picture-in-picture to get the controls.

If you touch the microphone icon, you will mute the audio on the recording. Tapping on the camera icon will disable the picture-in-picture window.. The stop button will stop the recording and begin the process of automatically uploading the recording to your Workspace on Sibme.

You will receive notification once the video has been successfully uploaded to your Workspace. Please don’t forget to delete the video from your Offline Videos area if you don’t want it on your mobile device.
