Once you have submitted your form, you will be able to duplicate the form to get a copy of your form submission, with all fields already completed, in an editable form. This allows you to start from your previous form submission while creating a new submission with slight changes in your new submission.

Who is this article for?

Based on the default user settings in the Sibme platform, you should have permission to complete this task if you are one of the user levels listed below. If you do not see the screens in this article, you can ask your administrator if you have permission.

  • Users

  • Admin

  • Super Admin

  • Account Owner

Steps to complete this task

  1. Once you have submitted your form, click the three dots and select Duplicate (if you do not see the option, it is because you do not have permission to duplicate this form)

  2. This will open a purple unsubmitted copy of your original form submission. The duplicate copy will have “-2” after the title of the form.

  3. Make any changes to the date you wish to change in your duplicate form.

  4. If you would like to save your work before you have completed your form, click Save. This will allow you to return to the form later. The Saved form will be listed among your Artifacts.

  5. When you’re ready to submit your form, click the green Submit button.

  6. You will now have two submissions of the form, your original and the duplicate copy. Duplicating a form does not replace the original form submission, it creates a new one.
