Release Details for July 8, 2024

Here are the important features released in Sibme's July 8, 2024 release.

Web Platform

  • New Home Page

    • The goal of Sibme's new homepage is to provide users with a quick way to access their tasks and a central hub to view recent activity since their last login. The Home page is broken down into the following areas that make it easier for a User to navigate what's important:

      • Media: The newest Video/Audio Artifacts that have been uploaded to Sibme.

      • Resources: The newest Resources that have been uploaded to Sibme.

      • Goals: The Goals a User needs to work on. Sorted by Goals coming due the soonest.

      • Forms: The Forms a User needs to submit. Sorted by Forms coming due the soonest.

      • Messages: All the messages that have been posted recently starting with the newest posts first. The pane grabs messages from Media, Resources, Chat, Goals, and Discussions.

      • Filters: Filter by Location (Workspace, Huddle Type, Goal) or Status/Starred.

      • Settings: Set the timeframe of items shown (default is a year) or change the order of the different panels.

AI

  • AI Reports Optimizations

    • The algorithms and models that are used in our AI Reports are continually being worked on. In this release, improvements were made in measuring silence, extracting and classifying a question, and the identification of praise.

    • Improvements were made on how AI responds to questions about the Sibme platform. Now Sibme Copilot will direct a User to specific Sibme Help Pages when a question is asked about how Sibme works.

    • The Wait Time 1 calculation was improved and better aligned with the true definition of Wait Time 1 as defined by Walsh and Sattes. Now, Wait Time 1 is calculated as the time after a teacher asks a question and before they call on a particular student to answer.
