How Do I Create a Coaching Huddle? | Sibme Help Center

Written by TJ Hoffman

Coaching Huddles are a great place for pairs of people to share videos and resources. You can invite anyone in your account to join you in a Coaching Huddle, and you can customize settings within the Huddle to allow each participant the appropriate amount of control to manage content within the Huddle.

Creating Coaching Huddles

You can create all Huddles from the Huddles page in your Sibme account on the web. Click Huddles in the left menu, then click the green Add Huddle button in the top right corner.

1. In the Create New Huddle window, click Create under New Coaching Huddle. You may not see all of the options in the image below, depending upon your account settings. If you do not see the Coaching Huddle option, ask your Account Owner for more information.

2. Type a name for your Coaching Huddle in the Huddle Name box. A name is required.

3. Add participants by typing a person's name, email address, or a group name into the Huddle Participants search bar.

To add a participant, click their name in the search results. You won't see everyone in your account at first, so start typing a name to find each person you want to add.

As you add participants to the Huddle, their names appear above yours in the list.

4. By default, the Huddle creator is a Coach in a Coaching Huddle. When you add a participant, you'll need to decide which participant should be the Coachee.

There can only be one Coachee in a Coaching Huddle.

5. Choose each participant's role by clicking Coach or Coachee next to their name.

6. Next, choose the Huddle's settings:

  1. Click More Huddle Settings to open the More Huddle Settings window.

  2. Type a description into the Huddle description box to show additional text below the Huddle name on the Huddles page. (optional)

  3. Custom video markers and Frameworks: Turn custom video markers and Frameworks on or off. If you turn on Frameworks, select a default framework from the Framework dropdown. You can also turn on Allow coachee to assign frameworks.

  4. Coachee can delete Artifacts they have shared to this huddle: Choose whether the Coachee can delete Artifacts they've shared.

  5. Coachee can download or duplicate Artifacts or crop videos the Coach has shared: Choose whether the Coachee can download, duplicate or crop what the Coach shares.

  6. Publish Feedback: When this is on, the Coachee can't see the Coach's comments and tags on a video until the Coach publishes the feedback for that video.

  7. Coachee can view coaching summary: Allow the Coachee to see the coaching summary.

  8. Allow Participants to select non-Huddle Members in Forms User Data: Let participants choose people outside the Huddle when filling in user data on a form.

  9. Turn on Events: Turn on Events for the Huddle. With Events on, you can also turn on Appointment Booking (click Set Available times to choose when you are available).

  10. Auto-download Zoom recordings to Huddle: Automatically add Zoom recordings to the Huddle.

  11. Suspend All Notifications for this Huddle: Stop email notifications for this Huddle.

  12. Coachee Can Run AI Reports: Allow the Coachee to run AI Reports in the Huddle.

  13. Message to invite participants (optional): Add a message that will appear in the email invitation all Huddle participants receive once you've finished creating the Huddle.

Click the green Save button to save your settings and return to the Add Huddle page.

Click the green Create button to finish creating your Coaching Huddle.

Coaching Huddles are intended to be 1:1 spaces for two people to share video and resources with one another. Additionally, Coaches can provide robust time-stamped feedback to Coachees in a secure space. While activity performed in a Coaching Huddle is tracked in the Coaching Tracker and account analytics, only the Coaches and Coachees in each Huddle will be able to see the videos and resources shared in each Coaching Huddle.
