Release Details for Oct. 15, 2026
Here are the important features released in Sibme's Oct. 15, 2026 release.
Web Platform
Observations
Observation Notifications
You now receive email notifications for activity in your Observations. Notifications include:
Assignments: when you are made a Process Manager, Assignment Manager, Observer, Observee, or Viewer, when Observees are added to your Process, and when an Observer is changed.
Step activity: when a Step is marked Done or Undone (including the Undone reason), when Steps are added to or removed from a published Process, and when every Step in an Observation is Done.
Signatures: when your Signature is needed to complete a Step, and a record of your Signature after you sign.
Due dates: a daily digest of Steps that are overdue, due tomorrow, or due in 7 days. The digest stops once the Process is over.
Archiving: when an Observation or a Process with Observations is archived.
Notifications use the terms your Account has set in Account Settings > Observations > Terminology.
To turn Observation notifications on or off, go to User Settings > Notifications and use the Observations checkbox. Observation notifications are also included when you use Suspend All Notifications. Signature notifications are always sent, even when Observation notifications are turned off. For more information, see the How Do I Customize My Email Notifications? Help Article.
Share to Observations
You can now share an Artifact directly to a Step in an Observation, the same way you share to a Huddle or Goal. When you choose Share on an Artifact, the Share modal now includes an Observation tab.
Observers choose the Process (if they are in more than one), then the Observee, then one or more Steps.
Observees choose the Process (if they are in more than one), then one or more of their own Steps.
Only Steps that accept Evidence can be selected. Form-Only and Signature Steps are shown but can't be selected.
You can choose whether to include the Artifact's comments, tags, and attachments.
For more information on Steps and Evidence, see the How to Work on an Observation Step Help Article.
Signature Icon While Building a Process
When you build a Process, the Form column is now called Type. It shows a Form icon for Form Steps and a Signature icon for Signature Steps, so you can see each Step's type at a glance. Hover over an icon to see "Form Step" or "Signature Step."
Reorder Processes
Observers with many Processes can now set the order Processes appear on their Observations landing page. Open the More (●●●) menu above the table and select Reorder Processes. Drag each Process into place using the sorting icon, then click Done. Your Processes keep this order each time you return. For more information, see the Your Observations Dashboard: Observer View Help Article.
AI Insights
New Prompts for Notes
When you run AI Insights on a Resource categorized as Notes, two new prompts now appear in your Prompts list:
Instructional Practice — Single-Notes Review using Attached Framework: reviews your observation notes against the Framework attached to the Resource. This prompt appears when one Notes Resource is selected and a Framework is attached.
Convert Notes to Low-Inference Evidence: turns your notes into a low-inference evidence record, separating what was observed from observer judgments.
The first time you open AI Insights on a Resource, you're asked to assign it a category, such as Notes, Slides, or Student Product. When you select multiple Artifacts, you can change a Resource's category with the pencil icon in the AI Insights Artifacts window.
What this means for you: You can get Framework-based feedback on your observation notes, even when you didn't record a Video or Audio.
Campus Patterns Prompt for Multiple Artifacts
When you select multiple Artifacts and attach a Framework, a new Campus Patterns — Multi-Recording Trend Analysis using Attached Framework prompt now appears in your Prompts list, alongside the Multi-Artifact Summative Review prompts. For more information, see the Select Multiple Artifacts for AI Insights Help Article.
Progress Label Matches Your Artifact
The first progress step shown while AI Insights runs now reflects what you selected. For example, it shows "Reviewing your document" when you've selected only a document, instead of always saying "Reviewing the video."
Record Audio in Goals Action Items
The green "+" button in Action Items now includes Record Audio, matching the "+" button elsewhere in Sibme. For more information, see the How Do I Add Evidence to My Action Items? Help Article.
Analytics Chart Titles for Tags & Performance Levels
Charts in Analytics > Tags & Performance Levels now work the same way as Tagged Standards in Goals Reports. Each chart is titled with the Standard Analytics Label from your Framework. If a Standard has no Standard Analytics Label, the Standard Text is used instead. Hover over the "i" icon next to the chart title to see the full Standard Text. Account Owners and Super Admins can set these fields in Account Settings > Frameworks.
People Page Exports
When you export Users from the People page as CSV or Excel, the export now has separate First Name and Last Name columns and a new Email column. For more information, see the People Page Overview Help Article.
RapidIdentity Single Sign-On
RapidIdentity is now available as a Single Sign-On provider. Account Owners and Super Admins can set it up in Account Settings > Integrations > Configure SAML/OAuth by choosing OAuth: RapidIdentity. For more information, see the Single Sign-On Overview Help Article.
