How to Make Audio Comments on Documents | Sibme Help Center

Learn how to make audio comments and replies in a Resource.

Who is this article for?

Based on the default user settings in the Sibme platform, you should have permission to complete this task if you are one of the user levels listed below. If you do not see the screens in this article, you can ask your Sibme account administrator if you have permission.

  • Users

  • Admin

  • Super Admin

  • Account Owner


Steps to accomplish the task:

To make an audio comment, click on the comment icon or any of the annotations in the document as you would do to make a text comment.

Then, instead of typing your comment in the text box, click and hold the microphone icon and speak your comment.

Let go of the Audio icon if you want to pause or quit and save the recording. To continue the recording after pausing, then click the "pause" icon to resume your comment

Once you are finished, click the stop button. Then click the green “Add” button and the comment will appear in the comment thread.

Note: Currently, audio comments for documents cannot be downloaded into a PDF form. The PDF will show that a comment has been made, but the audio comment will not be able to be accessed in the downloaded PDF.
