Sometimes a Resource or URL that has been annotated and comments made on needs to be printed with those annotations/comments showing.

Steps to accomplish the task:

To download and print a document with all of the annotations and comments, you first need to download Adobe Acrobat Reader on your device. This is a free application that allows you to open and read PDF documents (please use https://get.adobe.com/reader/ to download Adobe Acrobat Reader).

Please note, there are other free PDF reading programs available but these directions focus on Acrobat Reader.

Once Adobe Acrobat Reader is downloaded and installed on your computer, you will then be able to open Resources that have annotations and comments in them.

Here are the steps to print a Resource that has been marked up:

1 . Open the Resource or URL in Documenting Commenting, click on the ●●● more menu in the top right corner, and choose “Download w/ Comments”.

2. The Resource or URL will be downloaded as a PDF file to the default location where files are downloaded on your computer. The filename of the PDF file will be the name of the Resource or URL.

3. Open the downloaded file in Acrobat Reader and confirm that the annotations and comments are there. If you roll over the annotations, the comments should appear.

4. To print the PDF with the annotations and comments shown on the printout, go to File > Print or click the printer icon and be sure in the Comments & Forms section that "Document and Markups" is chosen.

Click the Summarize Comments and choose Yes on the popup. Then choose Print.

This will print the pages with the annotations numbered and then a page with the comments that go with each annotation.
