What is a Coaching Summary?

Each video in a Coaching Huddle will contain a Coaching Summary tab viewable only by the coach(es) in the Huddle through the Sibme Web App.

The Coaching Summary contains information regarding activity by participants in the Huddle such as total Coach comments, total Coachee comments, total resources added, and Coaching Summary Notes which can be added by coaches for later reference.

The Coaching Summary also includes a Summary Chart of Framework/Rubric tags and Performance Levels assigned if activated for the Huddle.

How do I access the Coaching Summary?

This summary is accessible from two locations in the Sibme Web App. From the Coaching Huddle, the Coaching Summary can be reviewed and the Summary Notes modified by clicking on the Coaching Summary tab in the video view area. Only the Huddle participants with the Coach role can see this tab unless the Coach grants permission for the Coachee to view the Coaching Summary from “more huddle settings” when creating the Huddle.

The Coaching Summary can also be accessed through the Coaching Tracker located on the Homepage of the coach’s account in the Sibme Web App.

From the Coaching Tracker, access the Coaching Summary for a video by clicking on the box with date the video was shared in the Huddle of the corresponding Coachee.

You can edit the Session summary from this popup by clicking the edit button. To view the video and make additional comments, click on the video thumbnail.

Clicking on “Remove from Tracker” will remove the session summary and all data connected to that particular video from the Coaching Tracker. However, it will not remove the video or any related data from the actual Coaching Huddle.

Only Huddle participants will be able to view the video, but anyone with access to the Huddle Tracker will be able to view the Session Summary for all Coaching videos in the Coaching Tracker.
