Embedding custom Frameworks in your account allows you to support your organization’s goals. Tag standards or competencies to video comments and track this data across your program, school, district, or education-related organization. Not only can you embed multiple Frameworks in your account, but you have the ability to select the appropriate Framework for each video shared in a Huddle.

Who is this article for?

Based on the default user settings in the Sibme platform, you should have permission to complete this task if you are one of the user levels listed below. If you do not see the screens in this article, you can ask your administrator if you have permission.

  • Permission to assign frameworks to Huddle videos are defaulted to the Admin (Collaboration) or Coaches (Coaching) in the Huddle.

  • The Admin or Coach in the Huddle can allow all huddle members to assign frameworks to videos in the huddle by selecting this permission in the “More Huddle Settings” during Huddle creation or Huddle editing.

  • Permission to assign frameworks to a video in a Workspace can be given to users by the Account Owner. Please be aware that if you then share a video to a Huddle from your Workspace and that video has a Framework selected, then that Framework goes with the video to the Huddle.

Steps to accomplish the task:

To assign a Framework to a video, open the video viewer in the Huddle and click on the Framework tab.

If a framework was selected as the default during Huddle, you will see a preview below the dropdown menu. Confirm the default framework or select a different framework from the dropdown menu.

Click the green Use Framework button.

You will see a notification reminding you that this selection cannot be undone.

Once assigned, you can begin using your framework.
