Sometimes there is a need to upload an Artifact that is already on your computer, whether that is an Audio, Video, or document (we call them Resources). Now Artifacts can be uploaded from both the green '+' button or dragged and dropped into a Workspace or Huddle.

Who is this article for?

Based on the default user settings in the Sibme platform, you should have permission to complete this task if you are one of the User levels listed below. If you do not see the screens in this article, you can ask your administrator if you have permission.

  • Admin

  • Super Admin

  • Account Owner

Steps to accomplish the task:

When an Artifact is uploaded to Sibme it can be uploaded directly to a private Workspace or to a Huddles.

Clicking on the green '+' button in either a Workspace or Huddle will give the options to upload either a Video, Resource, or Audio file.

Clicking on "Upload Video", "Upload Resource", or "Upload Audio" will bring up the upload interface. Select the Artifact to be uploaded from your computer, Google Drive, Dropbox, Box, or OneDrive.

Once the file has been chosen, click upload.

Also, Artifact files can be dragged and dropped into a Workspace or Huddle. Here are the steps:

  1. Open Sibme and go to the location where the file will go.

  2. Open File Explorer (Windows) or Finder (Mac).

  3. Locate the file in your Google Drive folder.

  4. Drag the file into Sibme’s until the "Drag files here to upload!" message appears.
