Steps to accomplish the task:
Adding Custom Video Marker Tags
Quick Marker Tags are readily available tags which are determined by an Account Owner. Only Account Owners have the permission to change or edit an account’s Quick Marker Tags. Each account can have a maximum of four (4) Quick Marker Tags.
To add Custom Video Marker tags on your iOS device:
Open the video from the Huddle which you want to add Custom Video Marker tags on.
Click on the “plus sign” on the lower right of the screen to start adding an annotation or comment on your video.
Type the annotation or comment you wish to add.
Tap on the corresponding Custom Video Marker tags you want to add.
Add the comment by pressing the Post button.
Tagging Standards from your Embedded Frameworks on your iOS App
Rubrics and Standards based on your Embedded Frameworks add more organization to your annotations. These tagged standards are also easily tracked on Sibme Analytics, which can be easily accessed by Account Owners and Super Admins. You can only tag frameworks on Videos which are shared to you in your Huddles and have added frameworks to them (please see the “How Do I Author Rubrics & Frameworks” and Huddle Help Articles).
To tag rubrics or standards from your embedded Frameworks on your iOS device:
Open the video from the Huddle which you want to tag a Standard/Rubric on.
Click on the “plus sign” on the lower right of the screen to start adding an annotation or comment on your video.
Type the annotation or comment you wish to add.
Tap on the “Standards Icon” below the comments box to bring up the Framework selected for the huddle.
Tap on the box to put a check sign on the standards you wish to tag for the comment you are adding.
Tap Done to return to the comment box.
Add the comment by pressing the Post button.
Adding your Own Custom Tags from your iOS App
Custom Tags can be added to any annotation or comment on the Web App and also on our Mobile Apps. Custom Tags are usually determined by the user logged into the account. Custom Tags are not tracked by Sibme Analytics while Quick Marker Tags are tracked.
To add Custom Tags on your iOS device:
Open the video from the Huddle which you want to add Custom Tags to.
Click on the “plus sign” on the lower right of the screen to start adding an annotation or comment on your video.
Type the annotation or comment you wish to add.
Tap on the “Custom Tag” icon below the comments box.
This will take you to a screen where you will add your Custom Tags. Select the “plus sign” and a Custom Tag naming screen will appear. Type the tag you wish to add and click “OK.”
You will return to the screen with your saved Custom Tag.
Tap on “Done” to return to the comment box.
Add the comment by pressing the Post button.
Standards and Competencies will only appear from the Standards & Tags tab if a Framework has been embedded to your account. Account Owners can create their account’s Frameworks using the Rubric & Frameworks button in Account Settings (please see the “How Do I Author Rubrics & Frameworks” Help Article).
