Upload Offline Videos in Mobile Apps to the Sibme Cloud | Sibme Help Center

You can manage the videos stored in the Offline tab on your mobile device when you record a video on your mobile app.

When you record a video on your mobile app, it is stored in the Offline tab while the video is uploaded to the Sibme Cloud. You can manage the videos stored in the Offline tab on your mobile device.

DISCLAIMER: If the Auto-Delete feature is enabled, then videos will not be stored in Offline once they have successfully been uploaded to the Sibme Cloud. Please ensure you confirm this in the Video Settings on your mobile device.


Who is this article for?

Based on the default user settings in the Sibme platform, you should have permission to complete this task if you are one of the user levels listed below. If you do not see the screens in this article, you can ask your Sibme account administrator if you have permission.

  • Users

  • Admin

  • Super Admin

  • Account Owner


Steps to accomplish the task:

After you stop recording in the Sibme Mobile app, by default, the video will automatically upload to your private Workspace in the Sibme Cloud. You can disable Auto-Upload in your "video settings.”

You can also pause or cancel the video uploading.

In case Auto-Upload and Auto-Delete were disabled, you can go ahead and manually upload your video. Tap the Offline tab and locate the video you want to upload to the Sibme Cloud.

Tap Upload Video on the video you want to upload to the Cloud and select the file destination. You can upload it to your Workspace or to a specific Huddle.

Additional Note:

The green icon on your Offline Video's thumbnail indicates that your video is already in the Sibme Cloud. If in case you lost a video, you can go ahead and re-upload it from the Offline tab. Again, this is only if Auto-Delete is disabled during the time you recorded the video.

From your Offline list, locate the file you want to re-upload to your Sibme Cloud, tap Upload Again and click Upload.
