Any artifact outside of Sibme can be uploaded from your phone’s gallery to your Workspace or Huddle.

Sometimes you record a video or have files located outside of Sibme that need to be uploaded to your Workspace or a Huddle. The Android and iOS Sibme apps allow Users to upload artifacts from a phone’s gallery to their private Sibme cloud Workspace or to a Huddle they are participating in.


Who is this article for?

Based on the default user settings in the Sibme platform, you should have permission to complete this task if you are one of the user levels listed below. If you do not see the screens in this article, you can ask your Sibme account administrator if you have permission.

  • Users

  • Admin

  • Super Admin

  • Account Owner


Steps to accomplish the task:

Uploading Video from your Mobile gallery to the Sibme App:

After you have logged into the Sibme app, follow these steps to upload a video on your mobile device to your Workspace or a Huddle.

Step 1: Tap the green "+ icon" on Workspace/Huddle and tap Upload Video from the options.

Step 2: Select "Upload from Gallery" for Android or “Upload from Camera Roll” for iOS.

Step 3: Select the video you want to upload from your mobile files and tap Upload Video.

Uploading a Resource from your Mobile gallery to the Sibme App:

Step 1: Tap the green "+ icon" on Workspace/Huddle and tap Upload Resource from the options.

Step 2: Select the file location. In the screenshots below, the artifact will be uploaded from the mobile device's local files.

Step 3: Select the artifact you want to upload from your mobile files and tap Upload.
