Steps to accomplish the task:

There are 2 ways to configure Canvas to allow Users the ability to SSO into Sibme:

Depending on the way Canvas is presently configured will help guide the decision on which method to use. If you have any questions about which method is best, please contact your Technology Department or Canvas Implementation Team.

There are 2 items that must be done before the Canvas SSO Integration will work:

  1. Please contact Sibme Support at [email protected] and confirm that “Enable LTI App” is turned on for all Sibme Accounts that will use Canvas SSO.

  2. A User’s email address in Sibme needs to match the email address used to login to Canvas. If you need any help with correcting email addresses, please contact Sibme Support at [email protected].

Once both of these items have been done, then please follow either of the processes linked to above to connect Canvas and Sibme for Single Sign-On.
