Workspace, Huddle, and Account-Wide Goals | Sibme Help Center

Understanding where your Goal lives and what that means for visibility and evidence.

Written by TJ Hoffman

Every Goal in Sibme lives in one of three places — your Workspace, a Huddle, or the Account level. Where a Goal lives determines who can see it and what Evidence can be added to its Action Items. When you create a Goal, Sibme will ask you "Where would you like this Goal to live?" — this article explains what each option means.

Where Goals Live

Workspace Goals

Workspace Goals are private to you. No one else can see your Workspace Goals or any evidence connected to them. They are ideal for personal goals or self-directed checklists of Action Items you want to track on your own.

Huddle Goals

Huddle Goals are only accessible to Participants in that Huddle — anyone outside the Huddle will not be able to see them. Within the Huddle, your Goal role determines what you can view: Goal Owners can only see their own Goal, while Collaborators can see all Goals in the Huddle.

One important thing to keep in mind: any Evidence added to a Huddle Goal is also saved as an Artifact in the Huddle. All Huddle Participants will be able to see that Artifact through the Artifacts tab, regardless of their Goal role.

Account-Wide Goals

Account-Wide Goals are not connected to any Workspace or Huddle. Access is managed by adding Owners and Collaborators directly to the Goal when it is created or edited.

Accessing Your Goals

Workspace Goals are accessed by clicking the Goals tab inside your Workspace.

Huddle Goals are accessed by clicking the Goals tab inside the Huddle.

Account-Wide Goals and Huddle Goals can also be accessed from the Goals icon in the navigation bar or from the main Goals page. This view shows all Goals you have access to across your account.

Filtering Goals in Your Workspace or Huddle

The Filter Bar is now available when you view Goals from inside a Workspace or Huddle, as well as from the main Goals page. You can use it to quickly narrow down the Goals list by title, Goal Owner, category, status, and more without leaving your current view.

For a full walkthrough of all available filter and sort options, see How to Filter and Sort Goals | Sibme Help Center.
