Sibme is a secure platform that only allows for the sharing of videos and artifacts with others participating in the same account as you. To share a video with others in your account so that they can view and/or annotate, they need to participate in Huddles with you. A Huddle is a private and secure space for learning.

In order to share a video from your Workspace to a Huddle, go to Workspace. There are two ways to see your organized videos in Workspace:  Grid and List views.

Let’s start with the Grid view.

From the Grid view, identify the thumbnail of the video you wish to share.  In the bottom right corner, you will select the “share” icon. TIP: when you hover over this icon, you will see the word Share. When this is selected, you will be given a list of huddles in which you are particating and into which you are able to share the video.

From this list, select the “destination” huddle for your video. You will select it by clicking on the box to the left of the title of the destination huddle. If the video you wish to share has comments, you will have the option of copying the video with or without comments.  If you want to copy the video with comments, you will have to select the “with comments” box at the bottom left corner before selecting the green share button.

The workflow is very similar for the List view.

From the List view, you will see information and options organized into columns. If you wish to share a video, choose the column labeled Action.  In that Action column, you will select the “share” icon.  From this point, the workflow is the same as that which was described for the Grid view.

There is one additional way to share videos from Workspace to Huddles.  First, starting in Workspace from either the Grid or List view, identify and select the video you wish to share.  This will open the video player view. From the video player view, you will notice the More icon (three horizontal dots) in the bottom right next to the Info button.  Selecting the More icon will reveal several actions you can take.  One of those actions is to “share” the video.  When you select share, you will be given a list of huddles in which you are particating and into which you are able to share the video. From this list, select the “destination” huddle for your video. If the video you wish to share has comments, you will have the option of copying the video with or without comments.  If you want to copy the video with comments, you will have to select the “with comments” box before selecting the green share button.
