In the Sibme Web app, you can now upload multiple files from your computer to your Sibme Workspace or to a Huddle and drag them directly into your Workspace or Huddle.

Who is this article for?

Based on the default user settings in the Sibme platform, you should have permission to complete this task if you are one of the user levels listed below. If you do not see the screens in this article, you can ask your Sibme account administrator if you have permission.

  • Users

  • Admin

  • Super Admin

  • Account Owner

Steps to accomplish the task:

You can now upload up to 50 files at one time to Sibme!

To upload multiple files to your Workspace and any Huddle, simply open your File Explorer, select the desired files and drag them into your desired location (My Workspace; a folder inside your Workspace; Huddle; etc.).

In order to do this, have File Explorer open alongside the Sibme web app. Then, select the desired files. You can either select multiple files by using “Ctrl/Command” + clicking on all of the files you need, or you can use “Shift” + click to select multiple files in a row.

Lastly, drag and drop the files from File Explorer into your Workspace or Huddle.

The files will then upload to Sibme. You will be able to continue working on the Sibme web app until the files finish uploading.

You can minimize the upload window by clicking the ‘˅’ icon and the files will just continue to upload.

You can also cancel or retry uploading from the same window in case you lose your connection.

This is a great way to quickly upload multiple files to your Workspace or a Huddle and continue to do work in the app!
