While Sibme makes it easy for a participant who has forgotten his passwords to recover it from the login screen, for convenience and flexibility, Account Owners and Super Admins have the ability to assist account participants who have forgotten their password by creating new passwords.
Who is this article for?
Based on the default user settings in the Sibme platform, you should have permission to complete this task if you are one of the user levels listed below. If you do not see the screens in this article, you can ask your administrator to grant you permissions.
Steps to accomplish the task:
To accomplish the task of changing the password of a participant in the account, follow these steps:
1. From the Home Screen, access the People Tab. If you do not have a People Tab, you have not been given permission to complete this task and would need to request permission from the Account Owner.
2. From the People Landing Page, locate the participant whose password you wish to change. Knowing the participant's role in the account will help locate their avatar. (Please note that if you are an Admin in an account, you may be given permission to manage people in an account. However, you will only be given access to change the passwords of participants who are in the User role in your account. You do not have the ability to change the passwords for other Admins, Super Admins, or Account Owners.)
3. Once you have located the person whose password needs to be changed, select the Password icon.
4. After selecting the Password icon, you will be taken to the Change Password screen
From the Change Password screen, you will type the New Password in the textbox provided. The only criteria is that the password be 6 or more characters. You will then be asked to confirm the password by typing it again. Finally, select the green Save button before leaving the screen.
