The Library is a place to upload, organize, and store videos and Resources that can be viewed by all Users in the Account. Artifacts can be tagged and organized by customizable categories. The Library is a great place to showcase best practices to all users in your network. The Account Owner has the option to enable or disable the Library in their Account Settings.

Steps to accomplish the task:
Activating the Library
Account Owners must make sure that the Library feature is activated from the Account Settings. Only Account Owners have access to enable the Library for their Account.
Always make sure that you save your updated Account Settings by clicking on the “Save” button at the bottom of the Account Settings page.
Uploading Resources to the Library
By default, only Account Owners and Super Admins have access to upload videos to the Library. There are two ways to upload videos and resources to your Library.
Option 1: Uploading the Artifact Directly to the Library
Click the green plus button on the Library and choose what type of Artifact you want to upload.
A popup window will appear once you have selected the Artifact type.
Simply create a Title for your Artifact, add a description (optional), and check the Categories and Subcategories you wish to tag the Artifact with. Please note that the list of Subcategories will only be available once you have selected a Category.
Click Next and select the location of the Artifact you want to upload. In this example, we will get the file from the device.
Click ‘Select Files to Upload’ and then the Artifact. This process is identical to any other video or file upload to Sibme.
You can then click “Upload” to finish uploading the Artifact with the tagged Categories and Subcategories.
Option 2: Tagging Artifacts When Sharing from Workspace or Huddles to the Library
When you click the “Share” icon on an Artifact in your Workspace or Huddles and choose to share to Library, you will see existing Categories and Subcategories listed on the popup that appears. Simply check the Categories and Subcategories you wish to tag the Artifact with and click Share.
Your Artifact will be shared and tagged with the existing Title and the Categories/Subcategories you selected.
If you wish to edit the description, change the title, or update the category of the artifact, simply click the three dot icon below the Artifact’s thumbnail. From the menu, you also have the option to download a copy of the Artifact or delete it.
Categories and Subcategories
Categories and Subcategories allow you to easily curate Artifacts in your Library however you like. You can create as many Categories as you’d like for your Library, and then select Subcategories under each Category. When there are no Subcategories associated with an individual Category, you will be able to assign each video to a Category created in your Account. When Subcategories are associated with a particular Category in your Library, Subcategories will be the actual “tags” you assign to each Artifact in your library.

Comments and Attachments
When enabled, Artifacts in the Library can be enhanced with time-stamped, time-range, and all Artifact comments, just like any other Artifact in Workspace and Huddles. Additionally, files can be attached to the Library videos exactly the same way as other videos on the Sibme platform. All comments and attachments associated with Library Artifacts can be seen by anyone who can view the Library. By default, only Account Owners and Super Admins have permission to to make comments on Library videos. These permissions can be customized for Users in Account Settings or the People Page.
You can view and export transcripts of the videos you upload to the Library. Transcripts are generated automatically and can be viewed by anyone with access to your Library.
