Everyone who has permission to log into a Sibme Account is assigned a user role. Sibme allows 5 different user roles: Account Owner, Super Admin, Admin, User, and Viewer. The chart below will explain what each role can do. Below the chart, you’ll see instructions for changing a person’s user role in the People tab of Sibme.

Changing a Person’s User Role in the People Tab
There are 2 ways a person's role in Sibme can change depending on whether you want to change 1 person's role or many people's role. Here are the ways a users role can be changed:
Changing 1 Person's Role: To change 1 person's role, click on the . . . more menu to the right of the User you would like to change and select "Privileges".
On the next screen choose the user's new role at the top under the "Role" section. A confirmation message should appear in the top right corner of the screen.
NOTE: From this page, you can also grant individuals additional privileges beyond the default privileges for their role. To edit individual permissions, click on the “See All” button under Privileges at the top right of the page.To give individuals additional privileges:
Click the boxes next to the extra privileges you would like them to have. (NOTE: Only some permissions are editable for each role. If a permission is able to be changed, you will see a checkbox next to that permissions. Permissions with an X next to them cannot be granted to the current role. Permissions with a checkmark that cannot be clicked cannot be removed from a user with the current role.)
Please be aware that this can both be done for "General" and "Goals" privileges.
Click the "Done" button.
Changing Multiple People's Role: Clicking on the boxes next to many users will bring up the multi-action menu at the top. Choosing a new role from the dropdown will make all the chosen individuals the same role no matter what role they were. If a role is greyed out then that means all the people chosen were all that role.
Users' roles can also be changed during the bulk update process. More information on the bulk update process can be found in the How to Bulk Update User Data in Sibme | Sibme Help Center help article.
User permissions can have a big impact on the success of your Sibme use. By customizing the roles and privileges to fit the needs of your organization, you can balance ease of use with the security your team requires.
